Hi all, I'm enquiring for a friend- She's got a '94-'99 Polo and wants to know what's the largest size of rim you can fit on comfortably-with no modification of arches.

Largest alloy wheels I have seen on VW Polo was 17" booted with 215/40 R17 tyres. Maybe you can mount 18" with tyres Series 30 or 20, but I am not sure if you could steer your front wheels without touching the archs.

Do you know if any arch mods were made for the 17's?

Hey there a would deffo stay with the 17 at a push unless the archs are changed.....some 16 can look great and a decent set of toyo drifters to suit wud be great
