Suspension Noise - Volkswagen 2003 GTi VR6
I have a 2003 gti vr6 with h&r coilovers, autotech front & rear swaybars. The driver side strut is making a popping noise when I go about 10-20 mph and when I push down on top of my fender. I installed new strut mounts, strut bearings, swaybar bushing and cv joints.. But it's still making the noise. I hope my strut isn't bad because there's only 30,000 miles on them.
Also when I turn the wheel it makes spring sounds like ding ding ding... If you have any ideas of what it could be let me know, I would really appreciate it...

The fronts shouldn't make a spring noise because its one piece and the spring should be automatically seated. Worth checking though. Also the clicking your hearing could be the sway abr touching the axle, depending on how low you are. Look for rubbing, if it is rubbing, look into a nice set of drop links. Could also be that in the installation you didn't tighten something up enough, then with the wiehgt of the car on the setup, it has room to play.

yep, check for rubbing on the axles where the front sway bar curves over them.
if you hear a clunk when you move the wheel left & right at a stop...
then it's either the steering knuckle or loose tie rods.
with lower suspension & bigger wheels the stress on these parts is higher than the oem setup.

Swaybars make cracking noises for a while after installation. I have a rear bar and there used to be a very unpleasant cracking sound whenever I would turn or drive over a bump in the road. It went away on it's own after about a month or so.

I have similar problem too. My car pops when I turn the wheel to the right and drive in and out of the driveway. The sound comes from the driver side as well.
